VERO BEACH — Tickets for the Annual May Pops Concert on Sunday, May 2 to benefit the Indian River Medical Center Foundation are now available. “A Celebration of Stage and Screen” is the theme of this year’s event, with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Christopher Confessore, bringing to life songs that were first hits on Broadway and found their way to the Big Screen. Tony Award winner Debbie Gravitte will be the guest vocalist. From the Wizard of Oz to James Bond, from Gypsy to Funny Girl, and Harry Potter to Mamma Mia and Wicked, this year’s performance will have something for everyone.
The concert will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 2nd on the polo field at Windsor. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. for picnicking prior to the concert.
