Frank H. Huber, 69, Vero Beach

Frank H. Huber, 69, died March 19, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.

He was born in New York City and was a winter resident of Vero Beach for 21 years. He was a graduate of Garden City High School and Brown University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Before retiring, he worked at Citibank and Adelphi University in New York, and in management with the McDonald’s Corp. in New Jersey.

He was a member of Westhampton Country Club, Westhampton Yacht Squadron and Swordfish Beach Club, all of Westhampton Beach, N.Y.; and Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club, Vero Beach.

He was involved in numerous charitable organizations including East End Hospice and Family Counseling Services, both of Westhampton Beach. He was a board member and past treasurer of Remsenburg Academy Association, Remsenburg, N.Y., and was a member of The Eagle Society, Vero Beach.

He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Moller Huber of Remsenburg; stepsons, John Floegel of New Jersey and Scott Floegel of Virginia; stepdaughter, Suzanne Floegel of Maryland; and nine grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Indian River Medical Center Foundation, 1000 36th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. March 27 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Westhampton Beach. Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
