George Stanley Berge, 91, died March 17, 2010, at his home.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Warren, R.I., and Vero Beach.
He was a graduate of the Polytechnic Institute of New York University in Brooklyn as an electrical engineer. Before retirement, he was employed by General Electric.
He was managing partner of Tucker Anthony, a forerunner of technical analysis, for Wall Street. He was a member of Grand Harbor Golf and Tennis Club; Rhode Island Country Club; and a former member of Sakonnett Country Club, Rhode Island.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Carol Berge of Vero Beach and Warren; sons, Robert Berge, Douglas Berge and Thomas Berge, all of Rhode Island; daughters, Susan Berge and Leslie Berge, both of Rhode Island; stepsons, Bradford Louison and Douglas Louison, both of Massachusetts; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor Berge.
