Elizabeth Lamb Dillard, 77, died March 13, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born in Lavern County, Ga., and lived in Indian River County since 1950, coming from Georgia. She was retired from the Indian River County School Board in the food service business.
She was a member of Caananland Missionary Baptist Church where she served as First Lady.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Dillard Jr. of Vero Beach; sons, Joseph W. Dillard of Atlanta, Edward L. Dillard and Henry Dillard III, both of Vero Beach, and Vernon Dillard of Fort Pierce; daughters, Elma G. McKissic of Miami, Ernestine Modest of Rochester, N.Y., Claudia M. Franklin of Miami and Adonai Adeshile, Samatha Dillard and Nickie Norris, all of Vero Beach; 39 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. March 19 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Gifford. A service will be at 1 p.m. March 20 at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Gifford. Burial will follow in Gifford Cemetery.
