Bethel Town Brockway, 92, formerly of Sebastian

Bethel Town Brockway, 92, died March 13, 2010, at her home.

She was born in Parkman, Ohio, and lived in Murphy, N.C., for two years, coming from Sebastian. She and her husband, Francis Brockway, owned a furniture store in Ohio and later owned and operated Brockway Trailer Court, a mobile home park in Wabasso.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Sebastian, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.

Survivors include her sons, Ronald Brockway of Vero Beach, Norman Brockway of Bonaire, Ga., and Kenneth Brockway of Murphy; brother, Larry Town of Ashtabula, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Brockway; sister, Marion Goff; and brother, Leroy Town.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. March 17 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. March 18 in the funeral home chapel with the Revs. Norman Brockway and Cliff Cooley officiating.

Entombment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce. A reception will follow the graveside service at Calvary Baptist Church, Sebastian.
