Wilbur “Bill” McCready, 89, died at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born in Plum Township, Pa., and lived in Sebastian since 1964, coming from Pennsylvania.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Before retirement in 1983, he worked for RCA at Patrick Air Force Base retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Micco Volunteer Fire Department since 1964 and worked on the ambulance as an EMT for many years.
He served as a volunteer at the Sebastian River Medical Center Auxiliary. He was a member of the Roseland Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Thelma; sons, James McCready of Tampa and Donald McCready of Micco; daughter, Joyce Pontale of Micco; brother, Robert McCready of South Carolina; sisters, Helen Ryzinski of Michigan and Nancy Simon of Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren.
No services are planned.
Arrangements are by Fountainhead Funeral Home in Palm Bay.
