VERO BEACH — On Wednesday, March 17 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Indian River Shores Community Center, Dinah Voyles Pulver reports on the preservation of wildlife and conservation lands, water quality and the St. Johns River, as well as weather, hurricane science and natural disasters. Her presentation is part of the lecture series given by noted environmentalists, and sponsored by the Environmental Learning Center.
Dinah Voyles Pulver is a sixth-generation Floridian who has covered a wide range of environmental issues for more than a dozen years at the Daytona Beach News-Journal. Subjects of her recent articles include our recent cold weather, climate change, El Nino’s impact on our weather, off-shore drilling for oil, the kite surfer killed by a shark attack, the earthquake in Haiti, and right whale sightings along the Florida coast. Mrs. Pulver’s talk, based on her broad experience and insight on environmental events and issues, promises to be both interesting and informative.
