Anna Rose Tarquinio, 87, of Tallahassee, passed away on Feb. 19, 2010.
Mrs. Tarquinio was born on July 2, 1922 in Aliquippa, Penn., and moved to Tallahassee from Vero Beach in 2006. She was a retired bookkeeper and secretary.
She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, and a volunteer with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Council on Aging in Vero Beach.
Surviving are her daughter, Pamela T. (Dave) Brannon of West Palm Beach, her sons, Eugene M. Jr., of Fort Pierce and Christopher (Susan) of Tallahassee; her brother Ernest Quinter of Lakeland, her sister Genevieve Achhamer of Tallahassee; and her granddaughter, Gianna Rose Tarquinio of Tallahassee.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Eugene Mario Tarquinio in 1999.
The family will have a private visitation. A Burial Mass will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m., at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford- Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
