Thomas Monroe “Tom” Palmatory, Jr., 80, died Feb. 18, 2010, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born in New Castle, Del., and lived in Sebastian for 10 years, coming from Barefoot Bay. He served as a superintendent with the Delaware Parks System for 30 years.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian and a former member of Kings Baptist Church in Vero Beach, serving at both churches as an usher.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lucy Palmatory of Sebastian; daughters, Barbara Holcomb of Tennessee, Frances Twilley of Barefoot Bay and Patti Palmatory of Sebastian; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
