Riverside Theatre Annual Gala turns into Old Las Vegas

VERO BEACH —  Ante up in your finest Diamonds and Denim as the Riverside Theatre campus is transformed into the “Old Las Vegas Strip” for an evening of entertainment, drinking, dancing, eating and games of  chance. Diamonds and Denim in Old Las Vegas takes place on Saturday, March 13 from 6:30 pm until the wee hours.

Start at the theatre’s Orchid Lobby, which will be transformed into The Flamingo Hotel with chips galore and hit the jackpot at the tables. Enter the Waxlax Stage as it become the Flamingo Cabaret with continuous live entertainment from belly dancer extraordinaire Aisha, pianist Corey Pfeiffer and mentalist/mind reader Mark Stone.

Mosey on down to the children’s theatre, which will be transformed into The Golden Nugget Hotel. Stop at the Silver Dollar Saloon at the Golden Nugget for a “shooter” and feast on western barbeque.  Try your luck at Texas Hold’em poker, and then get ready for some boot stompin’ and line dancin’ with the musical group, The Dixie Highway Band.

$125 a player covers your debt.  Attire is Diamonds and Denim. There will be cash bars at both “hotel” venues. “What happens in Riverside Theatre stays in Riverside Theatre!”
