VERO BEACH — Artists from the community and beyond who work in oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, graphite, mixed media, collage, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, original prints and photography have been invited to submit work, no larger than twelve inches in any dimension, to Gallery 14 for their third annual open juried show. Entitled “SMALL is Big!- a miniature show and sale”, the exhibit will be held March 3 through March 27, Outside judges will jury the entered art work and award prizes. A gala reception will be held at the gallery on Friday March 5 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The reception and award ceremony is free to the public and all are invited to attend.
According to SMALL is Big! chair Dorothy Hudson, “We are really excited about repeating this show, which was ground breaking and extremely popular the last two years. We look forward to once again offering artists a venue for selling smaller work. There are so many places around the house where this kind of art can hang, it is easier to transport and easier on the wallet.”
