David S. Nealon, 60, died Feb. 5, 2010, at Kendall Regional Medical Center, Miami.
He was born in Troy, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for two years, coming from his birthplace. He graduated from Tamarac High School in Troy and State University of New York-Oswego.
He earned his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law and worked for the New York state Bill Drafting Commission and New York Department of Transportation.
He was a member of the American Legion and was involved with the Albany County Bar Association’s Mock Trial Program for many years, serving as coach and mentor for the Academy of the Holy Names Mock Trial Team.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Suzanne Carmody Nealon of Troy; daughters, Tiffany Nealon Raino of Miami and Rebecca Nealon of Washington, D.C.; father, John J Nealon Jr. of Vero Beach; sisters, Wendy DiGiovanni of Troy, Robin Nealon, Mel Nealon and Helen Nealon, all of Vero Beach, and Melissa Nealon Murphy of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Scott Nealon, Blaik Nealon, Shawn Nealon and John Nealon III, all of Troy, and Jamie Nealon of Texas; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Massey Nealon; and brother, Brion Nealon.
