Vicki Vernon Miensma, 57, died Jan. 18, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born in Vero Beach and was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Winter Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Mark Miensma; son, Lee Grant of Dallas; daughters, Miranda Carrington of Brooklet, Ga., and Lacy Miensma of Vero Beach; brother, Randy Vernon of Fort Lauderdale; sisters, Tami Watters and Laura Foster, both of Vero Beach; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Hurst Frost and Robert Vernon; brother, Steve Vernon; and sister, Kim Martinez.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 23 at Kings Baptist Church in Vero Beach. After the service, a benefit for the family will be at the Moose Lodge 1822 of Vero Beach.
