VERO BEACH — We recognize famous dance pairs like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev, Kathryn and Arthur Murray, Gene Kelly and Donald O’Connor, and recent ABC’s Dancing with the Stars winners Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson, on Saturday March 13 Indian River will crown its own famous pair at Dancing with Vero’s Stars.
The Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition and Dance committee are proud to reveal the complete list of dancers and partners who will grace the stage at The Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts at Saint Edward’s Upper School: Awilda Rivera, General Manager, Costa d’Este Beach Resort, dancing with Joe Tessier, 14th Avenue Dance Studio

Star dancers have begun training with their instructors who are donating more than 15 hours of dance, rehearsal and competition time towards the event. All the while they are gathering community votes in advance of the evening on the website, www.dancingwithverostars.com and then later at the dance competition itself. Each $1 raised equates to a vote for the dancer. There will be Runner up, Second Place and Grand Prize winners. Dancers will be judged 50% on the money they raise for Healthy Start Coalition and 50% based on their dancing skills.
