Nancy Emmett, 80, died Jan. 14, 2010, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
She was born in Naples, Italy, and lived in Sebastian for 20 years, coming from Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She was a retired hairdresser.
She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and the Italian American Club. She was a member of the American Legion and former sergeant-at-arms and called bingo every Sunday for 12 years at the Legion.
Survivors include her sons, Paul Emmett Jr. and Steven Emmett, both of Sebastian, and Frank Emmet of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; daughters, Theresa Burdick of Vero Beach and Elizabeth Emmett Brophy of Sebastian; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and a grandchild.
