VERO BEACH — Tiger Lily Art Studios and Gallery invites the public to its spring show, Visions~Dreams~Possibilities, opening Friday February 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. A special preview day is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 25 for art collectors and buyers who may prefer a quiet atmosphere to view the show. The exhibit runs through Friday, March 26.
The works, by artists Chris Adams Johnson, Julia Carter, Shotsi Lajoie, Jill Pease, Linda Proctor, Sharon Sexton and Glenda Taylor, cover a broad range of styles including sculpture, photography, fine ceramics and paintings and a variety of mediums such as oil, acrylic, concrete, clay, wood, metal and found objects. Diversity and ingenuity are partnered with skill and creativity. The show will draw patrons deep into the meaning and purpose of the pieces they view.
“We have had fun with interpretation, like Chris Adams-Johnson’s piece ‘Counterclockwise.’ Just knowing this title sends one off to possibilities in time and space…doesn’t it?’, asks Shotsi Lajoie, one of the other artists.
The endless possibilities in color, form, medium and style will suit everyone’s appetite and give a snapshot into the vision of the artists, who will be available to discuss their work
