Beverly I. Zuccalmaglio, 76, Vero Beach

Beverly I. Zuccalmaglio, 76, died Jan. 8, 2010, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.

She was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and moved to Vero Beach five years ago from Stratford, Conn. She was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Navy.

She worked for Textron Lycoming as an inspector and later worked as a certified nursing assistant. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Bridgeport, Conn.

Survivors include her daughters, Missy Taylor and Peggy O’Neil, both of Vero Beach, Maureen Kushner of West Haven, Conn.; sons, Robert Zuccalmaglio of Stratford, Conn., Joseph Zuccalmaglio of Naugatuck, Conn.; brothers, Charles Miller and Herbert Baraga of Connecticut; sisters, Irene Zampedri of Pennsylvania and Joanne Kondakor of Connecticut; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Stratford in March. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
