VERO BEACH — The 2010 Hibiscus Festival will be held in historic downtown Vero Beach on Saturday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Festival continues to grow and last year’s event was attended by over 15,000 visitors. Exhibitor booths will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. only,after which the party shifts to the 14th Avenue Theatre block for the evening event.
The Hibiscus Festival Committee welcomes vendor participation in the ever popular Hibiscus Festival Marketplace. Vendors of art, fine handicrafts, jewelry, home accessories, lawn and garden services and other merchandise, as well as community and non-profit booths are invited to complete an application so that they may take part. Additionally, Fine Art artists are invited to participate in the Juried Art Show. A different application is needed for participation. Both forms can be downloaded from www.mainstreetverobeach.org and are being accepted now.
The rental of a 10 ft by 10 ft. space is $35 per non-profit organization (must show proof of non-profit status), $50 for other vendors (one booth per vendor; no sharing) and $100 for political booths. Marketplace booth fees include extensive event publicity. A late fee of $25 will apply to applications received after April 5, 2010.

The annual Hibiscus Festival kicks off Friday evening April 16 with the Miss Hibiscus Pageant, and the Festival day and evening street party are Saturday, April 17. The Festival supports the efforts by the two benefiting sponsors Main Street Vero Beach and Vero Heritage, Inc. The City of Vero Beach is the Presenting Sponsor.
