VERO BEACH — The Jan. 18 meeting of the Pelican Island Audubon Society starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Vero Beach Community Center, 2266 14th Ave., features a program entitled “Critters, Cows, & Cowboys: A Photographic Exploration into the Wildlife and Work of Treasure Hammock Ranch,” by Bob Montanaro.
Learn about the critical role ranches play in protecting Florida’s diverse habitats while viewing encounters with the many species of wildlife that call Treasure Hammock Ranch home.
Additionally, the program reveals what a year of work is like on a Florida cattle ranch.
