Susan J. Kerr, of Vero Beach, passed away Dec. 28 at the VNA Hospice House.
Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.
She was born in Boston and received her degree in Education from Fitchburg College and taught elementary school in Miami before raising her family in Massachusetts.
She was an active member of the YWCA family, teaching and counseling unwed mothers. Susan lived in Vero Beach for the last 14 years, after residing in Wilbraham and Gloucester, Massachusetts.
She was survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Arthur W. Kerr of Vero Beach, her sons, William A. Kerr, his wife Patricia of Hampden Mass., Jeffry A. Kerr and his fiancé, Carolyn M Shea of Monson Mass.; her daughter, Deborah A. Kerr of Deltona; her grandchildren, Rebecca Bombard and her husband Brandon of Springfield Mass., Erin Kerr, and Christopher Kerr of Massachusetts. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Wagner and other family members.
