John R. Hruby, 92, died Dec. 28, 2009, at Indian River Estates Medical Center.
He was born in Cleveland and lived in Vero Beach since 1973, coming from Parkman, Ohio.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
He was a member of Roseland United Methodist Church in Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife, Alice.
