INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Senior Resource Association, the community transportation coordinator for Indian River County, is adding three new GoLine routes, CEO Karen Deigl announced Friday.”We are thrilled to add three new routes to our current 11 fixed GoLine routes,” Diegl said in a realease. “In addition we will also be moving our downtown Vero Beach hub to a larger area.” The new hub will be moving from Pocahontas Park to the former Indian River County Administration Building at 1840 25th Street in Vero Beach. “This new hub will provide more parking spaces, allowing riders the opportunity to Park-and-Ride to work, school, shopping, the beach and dozens of other locations in our area,” she said. “During these tough economic times people are searching for ways to save money. GoLine is a free service although we gladly accept donations.”The first new route will begin Jan. 4 and will include a run from the Indian River Mall to locations such as the CVS Distribution Warehouse, the Vero Fashion Outlets and the Main Campus of Indian River State College, in Fort Pierce. Starting Feb. 1 two additional routes will add service to South Sebastian and the Indian River Boulevard/Oslo Road area.
