Casilda Boyd Daly died Dec. 8, 2009, at her home. She was born in River Bourgeois, Nova Scotia, and lived in Indian River Shores for 28 years, coming from Ann Arbor, Mich. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church of Vero Beach. She was a member of Bent Pine Golf Club and Quail Valley Club, both in Vero Beach. She supported many different local and national institutions and charities. Survivors include her son, Peter Daly of Woodside, Calif.; daughters, Jo-Ann Lee of Pleasant Hill, Calif., Avis Daly of Vero Beach, Carol Dove of Jackson, Mich., and Alexia Jurschak of Katonah, N.Y.; brothers, Blaise Boyd and Peter Boydboth of River Bourgeois and George Boyd of Sydney, Nova Scotia; sisters, Lucille Bradshaw of Vancouver, British Columbia, Peggy Boyd of Mississauga, Ontario, and Betty Johnson of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Jack Daly. Memorial contributions be made to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
