Brian Holmes welcomed by Exchange Club

VERO BEACH — Brian Holmes is the Exchange Club of Indian River’s newest member. Paul Pickel, the club’s membership chair, inducted him into membership on November 10 at the Club’s weekly lunch meeting at Culinary Capers. Holmes is a graphic designer and the owner of Signs By Tomorrow, 3300 43rd Avenue, Vero Beach, since 1995. He lives in Vero with his wife and two children.

Exchange Club of Indian River provides the community with programs in youth activities, service, and Americanism. Through participation in its national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse, it supports a number of local youth-related charities. Club members are busy planning the upcoming Merry Christmas “Winner-Fest” Raffle to be held December 19 at the 6th Annual Winterfest at Pointe West. Prizes to be raffled include four hard-to-find Zhu Zhu hamster pets and a Wii with exciting games.

The Club meets for lunch at Culinary Capers each Wednesday at noon. Meetings feature programs on a wide range of business, government and civic, charity, personal, and professional topics.  Exchange Club of Indian River Foundation’s fundraisers, including the Raffle and the Annual Exchange Club Blue Water Open Charity Fishing Tournament held each Memorial Day weekend since 1977, support club projects.
