Eugene Washington, 63 of Sebastian, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 at his residence.He was born May 25, 1946 in Drew, Miss., and was a resident of Sebastian for one year, coming from Illinois via Mississippi. Mr. Washington was a bus operator and was a Jehovah’s Witness. Survivors include his wife of 18 years Cornelia Washington of Sebastian; son Lakum Washington of Memphis; brothers James Washington of Drew, Miss., K.C. Washington of Mississippi; sisters Mary Phillips and Mozell Washington of Drew, Miss., Blanche Thomas of Chicago, and one grandson.
