Charles L. Masinick, 86, died Nov. 25, 2009, at VNA Hospice House. He was born in Pottstown, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach since 1986, coming from Detroit. Before retirement, he was a tire builder for more than 30 years with the Uniroyal Tire Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the military police. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Illah of Vero Beach; daughters, Joan Gallina of Carson City, Nev., Patricia Fenwick of Orlando and Mary Peterson of Vero Beach; brothers, Harry and Julius Masinick, both of Michigan; sisters, Ann Cunningham and Rosemary, both of Michigan; and six grandchildren.
