Robert William McBride, 90, of Vero Beach, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at VNA Hospice House. He was born Nov. 23, 1918 in Brooklyn, New York and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 24 years. Mr. McBride retired as a District Sales Manager for Nabisco and was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach. He is survived by 3 sons, Robert G. McBride of Waccabuc, NY, John W. McBride of Long Valley, NJ and Kenneth J. McBride of Laurel Hollow, NY and 8 grandchildren. Mr. McBride was predeceased by his wife, Doris in 2007. At the request of the family, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
