Diane B. Holt, 88 of Vero Beach, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at Indian River Estates Medical Center in Vero Beach.Ms. Holt was born Feb. 13, 1921 in Hasbrook Heights, N.Y. and moved to Vero Beach in 1988 from Greenwich, Conn. She was a Sister at the Convent of The Sacred Heart in Greenwich. Ms. Holt was a member of Saint John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. She earned her Masters of Science degree at William and Mary. She also won nine National Science Foundation Grants. Survivors include her sisters Renee Bigler of Vero Beach and Audrey Seuss of Scarsdale, N.Y. At the request of the family there will be no services locally.
