Michael Vincent Agresta, 46, died at home on Oct. 31, 2009 after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Bridgeport, Conn., on April 11, 1963, he was raised in Milford, Conn., where he attended school and worked in construction before moving to Florida 15 years ago. Upon moving to Vero Beach, Mike opened Agresta Woodworking and Design, where he designed and built custom furniture and cabinetry. Mike enjoyed boating and fishing.
He leaves behind his loving girlfriend, Tammy Jones of Vero Beach; his mother Linda Bourgea, along with stepfather Richard of Jensen Beach; his father Frank Agresta and stepmother Laura of Wallingford, Conn.; brother Richard and sister-in-law Kim of Madison, Conn.; sister Jennifer Joseph and brother-in-law James of Bristol, Conn; sister Jacqueline and brother Mathew of Wallingford, Conn.; nephew Spencer Agresta and niece Abigale Agresta of Madison, Conn.; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in Connecticut and Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on, Nov. 14, 2009 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3375 20th Street, Suite 100, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
