INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Santa Paws is making his annual stop at The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7 and 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this special time, pets and their family members will be able to get their photos snapped with Santa Paws and his magical elf assistants. “I love visiting the Treasure Coast and I always enjoy meeting the pets of Indian River County,” Santa Paws said in a recent interview from the North Pole. Since area pets often tell Santa Paws that they’d like to “lend a paw” to help county animals in need, a $15 sitting fee will be collected to help the Humane Society make their wishes come true. The sitting fee includes one photo and a digital file for reproduction. Family sittings are welcomed – the photos make great gifts or can be used for printing up holiday cards.
Santa Paws has asked that reservations be made in advance so that he can personally meet and greet every animal and family. The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the animals of Indian River County and is located at 6230 77th St., Vero Beach.
