VERO BEACH — The third annual Vero Beach Art Club Art Trail, an intimate look at ten talented artists’ studios around Vero Beach will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.
Each year, the artists welcome guests into their homes and studios to allow them a glimpse of their work and to talk their creative process. Each studio will offer work for sale and exhibit along with light refreshments.
Money raised by the Art Trail funds the Student Scholarship Fund which supports five scholarships each year for promising high school students working towards a degree in fine arts. The Art Trail is a wonderful opportunity to share time with friends and family as you view beautiful works of art and maybe find some unique gifts for the holidays.
Tour artists include: Alicia Callander – Clay, Ray McLendon – Oil, Minakshi De – Acrylics & Pastels, Rene Guerin – Oil & Sculpture, Conrad Pickel Studio – Stained Glass, Barbara Soumar – Fiber Art, Pottery & Mixed Media, Marjorie Bohler – Oil & Watercolor, Charles Gruppe – Watercolor, Sue Gwinn – Pottery, Oil & Pastels and Sherry Haaland – Pastels.
Tickets go on sale Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Vero Beach Art Club office in the Vero Beach Museum of Art and the Artist Guild Gallery’s new location at 1974 14th Ave (corner of SR60 east and 14th Ave).
Only cash or check will be accepted. A limited amount of tickets will be available the day of the event at each artist’s location. Advance Tickets $20 each or $35 for two; Day of Event $25 each or $45 for two
