Philip G. Vitrano, 86, died Oct. 15, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in Vero Beach for 27 years coming from Layton, Long Key, Florida.
He served in the US Coast Guard during the WW II.
He was a member of Adult Literacy Society, Vero Beach and an Amateur Radio Operator.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years Kathleen Vitrano of Vero Beach, son, Rick Vitrano of Hollywood, daughters, Natalie Edlund of Cooper City, Madel Vitrano of Vero Beach and 1 grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Vitrano.
