Jane E. McGowan, 91, of Vero Beach, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach after a brief illness.
Mrs. McGowan was born January 20, 1918 in Sarcuse, N.Y. and moved to Vero Beach 30 years ago from her place of birth.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and the Vero Beach Power Squadron.
Survivors include her daughter Marilyn McGowan of Pasadena, Calif.; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis W. McGowan and a brother William Hartman Jr.
A private graveside service will held at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
