George E. Walper, 90, of Vero Beach, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. Mr. Walper was born April 27, 1919 in Fountain Hill, Penn., and moved to Vero Beach in 1985 from Westville, N.J. He was a 1937 graduate of Fountain Hill High School. Mr. Walper was a pharmacist and an Army veteran of WW II. He had worked for SmithKlineBeckman in Philadelphia and for Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, N.J. He was predeceased by his wife Grace E. Sands Walper. There are no immediate survivors. A graveside service was held in Eglington Cemetery, Clarsksboro, N.J.
