On Friday, Oct. 2 six local bands will showcase their talents on the stage of the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center with Doors Opening at 6 pm. All proceeds are to benefit the VBHS SADD/DARE and JROTC programs.The purpose of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) is to encourage middle school and high school students to make positive decisions for safe, healthy and substance-free lifestyles. D.A.R.E. is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teaches children from kindergarten through 12th grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives.The concert will include (in order of appearance) Satora, Disasterpiece Theatre, Think Before You Act, History of Monsters, Kafkaesk and Away With You. All bands perform modern hard rock style music.General Admission is $10 per person, sold at the door only.
