INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – Become a Making Strides Against Beast Cancer Million Dollar Diva! Between now and October 9, Treasure Coast women are challenged to raise a minimum of $200 each. If 5,000 women can raise $200 each, we can make history on the Treasure Coast by raising $1 Million to help fight breast cancer. Form a team or raise funds individually for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC). The 5K non-competitive walk will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Sebastian River Medical Center. Registration begins at 7:15 and the walk begins at 8:30 a.m. Each individual raising $200 or more will receive special recognition: T-shirt; pink ribbon “Million Dollar Divas,” a Treasure Coast’s Million Dollar Divas Club certificate, your name on the Club banner, special incentive and team recognition prizes and an invitation to the Pink Celebration Luncheon in November for the top 200 individual fundraisers. Since 1993, MSABC has been the American Cancer Society’s rallying cry to raise awareness and dollars to fight breast cancer. Monies raised support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving research, prevention, early detection, and support programs for thousands of patients and their families.
