Harold D. Miller, 81, of Vero Beach, died Aug. 3, 2009, in Vero Beach. He was born in Agency, Mo., on April 26, 1928. He resided in Cape Coral – Fort Myers in 1999 and has been a Vero Beach resident since 2006.
He served in the Army during the Korean War. He lived in Hollywood, Calif., until he married Dodi Cellura in 1957, raised six children in Silver Creek, N.Y., and moved the family to Winter Park, Fla., in 1970. His wife died in 1988 and found happiness again when he met Marian in 1997. He was a loving husband and a devoted father. He took great pleasure in spoiling his grandchildren. He shared strong family values and love of life. He enjoyed his life and shared many experiences and generosity with others.
He was a successful business man in manufacturing, marketing, and sales providing his family with a Catholic education and a comfortable lifestyle, with his spark enhancer device “Paser Magnum” to improve the performance of internal combustion engines and thereby gas mileage for passenger cars and another was with his self defense spray “Guard Products” and “Chemical Lance” where he distributed the law enforcement departments and gun shops.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Marian Miller; sons, Harold (Michelle), of Ocala, Daniel (Therese), of Sebastian; daughters, Kathleen (Ian) Clark, of Vero Beach, Suzanne Herrmann, of Mailbu, Calif., Dianne Brown, of Orlando, and Dolores (Alan) Classon, of Cape Coral; sister, Delores (Jack) Krumme, of Overland Park, Kan.; seven grandsons; and seven granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 31 years, Dodi; his sisters; Mildred, Ramona, Effie, Juanita, and Jessie; his brothers, Ferris, Eugene, and Irvin.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday Aug. 9, 2009, at Vero Beach Alliance Church 1701 43rd Ave., Vero Beach, at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow in the Church hall.
