George Gilbert Belcher, 74, of Sebastian, died July 29, 2009 at VNA Hospice House. He was born Oct. 28, 1934, in Belcher, Ky., and was a resident of Sebastian since 1980 coming from Lexington, Ky.
Mr. Belcher was a Tech Sergeant in US Air Force for 21 years and was a member of the VFW. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Elvira Jean Belcher; sons, Paul Belcher, of Old Hickory, Tenn., and Stephen Belcher, of Camden, Tenn.; daughter, Sharon Swaby, of Melbourne; sister, Leah Lou Ratliff, of Belcher, Ky; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
