Everett Kirk Craig, 86, of Vero Beach died Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Kirk was born Aug. 28, 1922, in Elizabeth, N.J., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 20 years coming from Bridgewater, N.J.
A proud patriot, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a veteran of World War II. He had been a Construction Site Inspector prior to retirement and was a member of The Community Church-United Church of Christ in Vero Beach. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years Helen W. Craig; daughter, Robyn (Stephen) Genualdi, of Morristown, N.J., and grandchildren, Christopher and Steven Genualdi. Kirk was predeceased by two sons, Richard and Paul Craig; his parents, Everett and Muriel Soles Craig; and a sister, Jean Havens.
A memorial celebration of Kirk’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Marine’s Helping Marines at M H M Hospital Program, P.O.
