Raymond “Ray” Cenerelli, 78, died July 16, 2009, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach. He was born in Elmhurst, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 10 years, coming from Broward County. He served in the 169th Infantry Division of the New York National Guard for 12 years. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was a 3rd-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Adeline; daughters, Diane Kelly, of Papillion, Neb., and Donna Vasey, of Fairfield Township, Ohio; sister, Irene Janis, of Long Island, N.Y.; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. July 19 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. July 20 at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
