Retired Lt. Col. Elizabeth A. Peets, 87, of Sebastian, died July 4, 2009, at Sebastian River Medical Center. She was born in Lorraine, Ohio, and lived in Sebastian since 1991, coming from Alexandria, Va. She was a retired Army lieutenant colonel and a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. Survivors include her sister, Jane, of Avon, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. No services are planned.
