Ray Charles Horskin, 52, of Wabasso, died June 26, 2009, in Melbourne. He was born in Vero Beach and lived in Melbourne for six years, coming from Wabasso. Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice; father, R.J. Horskin, of Vero Beach; stepmother, Lorien Horskin, of Vero Beach; mother, Ollie Pearl Haskin, of West Palm Beach; son, Kearon Horskin, of Melbourne; brothers, Jerry Dean Horskin and Robert James Horskin, both of Melbourne, and Darren Rivers and Zachary Horskin, both of Vero Beach; and sisters, Queen Teague, of Vero Beach, Rosemary Anderson, of West Palm Beach, and Laura Bivenn, of Cordele, Ga.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. July 2 at Hortense/Mills Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A service will be at 3 p.m. July 3 at Humble Church Of God In Christ. Burial will follow at Gifford Cemetery.
