VERO BEACH — More than 15,000 Vero Beach residents and other Fourth of July revelers, will sit in awe and amazement Saturday night while the city regales them with its annual fireworks display starting around 9 p.m. The show will last between 20 and 25 minutes and will be launched from Memorial Island.
Organizers recommend residents arrive half an hour early to Riverside Park, Royal Palm Pointe Park or Young Park to find a place to park and take a seat on the lawns.Fireworks watchers can also find a good vantage point on either the Barber Bridge or the 17th Street Bridge.Residents are welcome to bring chairs, blankets and coolers, according to Pat Rausch, of the parks department.
