Winifred Edith Cook, 78, Vero Beach; member American Legion Auxiliary

Winifred Edith Cook, 78, died June 25, 2009, at her home. She was born in Ontario, Canada, and lived in Vero Beach since 1996, coming from Killingworth, Conn.

 

 

She owned and operated Cooks Village Pub in Killingworth. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Vero Beach.

 

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Lee; sons, Jeff Cook, of Killingworth, Craig Cook, of New York, N.Y., and John Cook, of Deep River, Conn.; daughters, Linda Grenman, of East Hampton, Conn., and Karen Sypher, of Essex, Conn.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 9900 Ninth St. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33716.
