Many behavior problems in dogs are due to a lack of exercise. How do you exercise your dog? Leash walks? Dog Parks? Doggie Daycare? Play dates with friends? Training classes? Share some experiences you have had with various locations around the Vero Beach area.

There has been so much press recently about Vero’s new doggie dining ordinance; do you think there needs to be a special rule pertaining to dogs in outdoor seating areas?

Did you know the Treasure Coast Kennel Club is sponsoring an All Breed Conformation show at the Indian River Fairgrounds May 1 and 2? It is fun to see the different breeds and check out the vendors.

This blog is about pets. Generally, when we think of pets we are referring to dogs, cats and other domesticated animals. Recently there have been several incidents of animals considered pets that are not domestic pets, but tame wild animals.
Or maybe not so tame since the reason they are in the news is because they have attacked and injured humans.

Hello Vero Beach Dog Lovers!
 This is agility season in our community. Top competitors from all around the United States and Canada are here to trial. There are agility trials at the Indian River Fairgrounds on Feb. 12 to 14, Feb. 25 to 28 and April 8 to 11.
Agility is a great sport where you train your dog to negotiate an obstacle course featuring jumps, tunnels and wooden bridge type equipment.
