Pelican Island Preservation Society Meeting

Miles Myers, Supervisory Biologist with the US Fish & Wildlife Service’s Everglades South Team will give a presentation at the January Pelican Island Preservation Society meeting. Miles has been working with the Everglades Program for 17 years and will talk about their Everglades restoration efforts, endangered species, coastal projects and partnerships to further their mission.

The PIPS meeting is Monday, January 28, 7pm at the Environmental Learning Center, located at 255 Live Oak Dr. off the route 510 causeway in Wabasso and all are welcome to attend. For more information visit www.firstrefuge.org or call 772-202-0697.
