Phillip (Phil) Long, is the former Miami Herald Treasure Coast Bureau Chief. Educated is a one-of-a-kind memoir about the shaping of a mind. It’s a story about a young girl who, kept out of school, leaves her survivalist family to earn a PhD from Cambridge University.
