Orchid Island Rotary Club of Vero Beach recently gifted the Indian River Prep. Academy $1000. These funds will be used for reinforcement of positive behavior in these students. Most of them are at IR Prep due to severe disciplinary reason from the Middle or High School level. They purchase snacks and other items to reward positive behavior in hopes that these students will succeed and be able to return to their general educational population (ie) back to the High School or the Middle School that they came from.
Orchid Island Rotary meets each Wednesday at noon at the Vero Beach Country Club.
