The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA) – Treasure Coast Chapter proudly presents Harvest Dines. FRLA brings together restaurants, culinary talent, and area schools to showcase our local talent. Fifteen FRLA partners along with students from local high schools will team up with renowned chefs who will blend their talents to bring about a memorable evening filled with live music, food as well as some incredible auction items. The event will be held on October 27th, 2022 from 5:30-8:30 PM at the Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa.
The purpose of the event is to raise much needed funds to provide curriculum, equipment and scholarships for students in the ProStart/Culinary and the (HTP) Hospitality/Tourism Programs in the Treasure Coast. ProStart and HTM programs provide young people with the vital skills towards a future career in the hospitality business, which is the largest employer in Florida. In a state that relies on the hospitality industry for the majority of its revenue, we feel obligated to help ensure a well-trained labor force to meet the future economic needs of our industry and state. In many cases, teachers are forced to help fund the materials needed for their classrooms, and we need your help to support them.
