The Sally Wilkey Foundation was formed to honor the memory of Sally Wilkey, a St. Ed’s graduate and collegiate tennis player who tragically died of brain cancer in 2019. Sally was the granddaughter of one of the leading tennis families in town, King and Boots Van Nostrand. King travels all over the world to compete in senior and super-senior tennis championships for players over 70 and now 80.

The Foundation’s motto is “serving youth on and off the court” and it helps underserved youth through tennis instruction and life skills development.
It’s an outstanding program through which they teach kids tennis who normally would have no access to the game with Saturday lessons. A couple of the kids have made their high school team.
